The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the punishment exceeds $150 and/or ten days in jail and/or includes one year of supervised adult probation. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Jordan James Fumas, 19, Cloquet, Minnesota, pled guilty August 22, 2022, with Court Decision Continued on November 28, 2022. Charge was a felony of Drug Possession 1,2,3,4, – Not a Small Amount of Marijuana on May 14, 2022. Requirements include four years of supervised adult probation, Local Confinement (4 Days with credit for time served: 4 Days), and conditions of behavior. No fines or fees on record.

Jennifer April Meshake, 38, Grand Portage, Minnesota, pled guilty October 24, 2022, to a misdemeanor (Obstructing Legal process, arrest, or firefighting), and a felony (Threats of Violence with Reckless Disregard for Risk) on June 13, 2022.

Misdemeanor conviction on November 28, 2022, includes one year of supervised adult probation, Local Confinement (60 Days stayed 44 Days for One Year, with credit for time served: 16 Days) and conditions of behavior. Concurrent requirements for felony include five years of supervised adult probation, and conditions of behavior. No fines or fees on record.

Lauren Ashley Smith, 28, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, pled guilty October 10, 2022, to two gross misdemeanors (Fourth Degree burglary, and Fourth Degree Physical Assault of a Peace Officer) on May 5, 2022, plus one felony (Second Degree burglary of a Dwelling) on April 20, 2022. Concurrent requirements include four years of supervised adult probation, Local Confinement (14 Days with credit for time served: 14 Days) and (365 Days, stayed 357 Days for two years, with credit for time served: 8 Days), plus conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $1188.58 which includes $1003.58 restitution.

Alex Michael Borgen, Duluth, Minnesota, pled guilty September 26, 2022, to a petty misdemeanor (Failure to register a collector vehicle with Pioneer License) and a felony (Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle) on July 17, 2022. Requirements include two years of supervised adult probation, Local Confinement (2 Days with credit for time served: 2 Days), and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $315.

Cynthia Lee Imsdahl-Ceo, 69, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty November 29, 2022, to a petty misdemeanor of Driving the Wrong Way on a One Way Street, on September 23, 2022. Fines and fees total $285.

Gregory R Conley, 49, South Range, Wisconsin, pled guilty December 6, 2022, to Traffic Speeding 63/40 on November 26, 2022. Fines and fees total $225.

Dennis Ray Lecy Jr, 58, Robbinsdale, Minnesota, pled guilty on November 30, 2022, to a gross misdemeanor of DWI – Third Degree Driving While Impaired with one Aggravating Factor, on September 10, 2022. Sentenced to Local Confinement (180 Days stayed for four years), with 30 Days Local Confinement served as Home Detention/Electronic Monitoring or NERCC or one year ignition interlock with GPS tracking. Plus four years of supervised adult probation, and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $6085.
