The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the punishment exceeds $150 and/or ten days in jail and/or includes one year of supervised adult probation. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted

Nicholas Patrick Fitzsimmons, 26, South Range, Wisconsin, pled guilty on February 8, 2022, to a petty misdemeanor of Possessing and/or using Nonpreserved Minnows on a Designated Trout Lake, on January 29, 2022. Fines and fees total $185.

Nathan Charles Wilson, 37, Helena, Montana, pled guilty on February 8, 2022, to two petty misdemeanors: 1) Traffic Speeding 74/55 and 2) Driving After Suspension of License, on November 3, 2014 (date on record). Fines and fees total $350.

Joseph Francis Batkiewicz, 56, Saint Paul, Minnesota, pled guilty on February 9, 2022, to two petty misdemeanors: 1) Traffic Speeding 73/60 and 2) Possession or Sale of Marijuana (less than 42.5 grams) on January 22, 2022. Fines and fees total $185.

Richard Alexander Doane, 31, Lakeville, Minnesota, pled guilty on January 11, 2022, to a misdemeanor of Domestic Assault with Bodily Harm on August 29, 2021. On February 14, 2022, Disposition was Stay of Adjudication and Court Decision was Continued. Requirements recognized Local Confinement (3 Days with credit for time served: 3 Days). Requirements included two years of supervised adult probation, and conditions of behavior. Some conditions of behavior were required, and some were recommended. No fines or fees on record.

Nickolas John Swenson, 40, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty on February 14, 2022, to a misdemeanor of Harassment: Violating a Restraining Order on November 19, 2021. On February 14, 2022, Disposition was Stay of adjudication; Court Decision was Continued. Requirements recognized Local Confinement (4 Days with credit for time served: 4 Days). Requirements included one year of supervised adult probation and conditions of behavior. No fines or fees on record.
