Matters of Record


The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or ten days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Jennifer Sue Ahl, 49, Maple Grove, Minnesota, pled guilty on September 8, 2021, to a petty misdemeanor of Burning during a Burning Ban – Forestry Wildfire Prevention on August 15, 2021. Fines and fees total $185.

Dominique M. Davis, 37, Milwaukee, Minnesota, entered an amended plea of guilty on January 3, 2020, to a misdemeanor of Theft by Swindle on February 15, 2019. Court Decision was Continued on March 10, 2020. Amended Disposition Dismissed, Conditions Met or Expired, on September 10, 2021. Requirements were Adult Probation to the Court for one year, fees totaling $100, and Restitution of $500.

Cameron Michael Payne, 39, Plymouth, Minnesota, pled guilty on September 12, 2021, to a petty misdemeanor of Speeding in a Special Zone set by the Commissioner 74/45, on August 16, 2021. Fines and fees total $285.

Ronald Worley Lewis, 57, Burleson, Texas, pled guilty on September 14, 2021, to a petty misdemeanor of Hunting – Transportation of Loaded Firearm on September 3, 2021. Fines and fees total $185.

Branden Randall Zinken, 31, Saint Michael, Minnesota, pled guilty to two petty misdemeanors on September 14, 2021: 1) Driver and Passengers must use Seat Belts and 2) Limited License Violation. Fines and fees total $210.
