Matters of Record


The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or ten days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Austin Terry Oullis, 33, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty on August 27, 2021, to a petty misdemeanor of Careless Driving – Operating a vehicle carelessly on a street or highway on August 19, 2021. Fines and fees total $185.

Denise Michelle Townley, 48, Silver Bay, Minnesota, pled guilty on August 28, 2021, to three petty misdemeanors: 1) Driving after cancelation of license and 2) not having Proof of Insurance when operating a vehicle on June 14, 2020, plus 3) Driving after cancelation of license on July 17, 2021. Fines and fees total $685.

Cullen Reese Moffatt, 46, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, pled guilty to a petty misdemeanor of Open Burning, Violating the fire ban (Forestry) on August 25, 2021. Fines and fees total $185.

Sanjaya Gananath Wanduragala, 48, Minneapolis, Minnesota, pled guilty on August 30, 2021, to a petty misdemeanor of Open Burning, Violating the fire ban (Forestry) on August 20, 2021. Fines and fees total $185.

Jeremy Douglas Collins, 43, Rochester, Minnesota, pled guilty on August 31, 2021, to a petty misdemeanor of Open Burning, Violating the fire ban (Forestry) on August 24, 2021. Fines and fees total $185.
