The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or ten days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.
Richard Arthur Weber, 63, Saint Paul, Minnesota, submitted an Amended Plea of guilty on January 14, 2019, to Felony Theft committed on October 3, 2018. Court Decision was continued on May 28, 2019, and Amended Disposition was Dismissed (Conditions met or Expired) on July 13, 2021. Requirements included four years of supervised probation, payment of restitution ($2200), and conditions of behavior (including writing a letter of apology). Fines and fees were court costs only and totaled $600.
Cody Alan Birman, 27, Cypress, Texas, pled guilty to two petty misdemeanors: 1) Taking fish without an angling license, and 2) Failing to display ATV/ORV registration/ decal as required, on July 13, 2021. Fines and fees total $215.
Reid Gerrard Charbonnet, 25, Metairie, Louisiana, pled guilty to a petty misdemeanor of traffic speeding 85/60 on June 1, 2021. Fines and fees total $225.
