Jacob Lee Patten, 42, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty October 21, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of transporting a loaded firearm for hunting on October 10, 2020. Fines and fees total $185.

Dillon Wade Sjogren, 19, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty on October 22, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of transporting a loaded firearm for hunting on October 11, 2020. Fines and fees total $185.

Matthew Francis Howard Beeson, 36, Prescott, Wisconsin, pled guilty on October 23, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of transporting a loaded firearm for hunting on October 10, 2020. Fines and fees total $185.

Kristian Michael Wylie Gresham, 27, Oneida, Wisconsin, pled guilty on October 26, 2020, to a gross misdemeanor of carrying/possessing a pistol without a permit in a public place on August 28, 2020. Fines and fees total $485.

Daino Jon Jouppi, 43, Grand Marais, Minnesota, had an Amended Plea of guilty on August 26, 2019, a Court Decision Continued on October 14, 2019, and an Amended Disposition on October 26, 2020 (dismissed due to conditions being met or expired). Misdemeanor charge was for violating an Order for Protection on May 24, 2019. Requirements included three days local confinement, one year supervised adult probation, and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $300.

Dylan Zachary Smith, 29, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty on October 26, 2020, to a misdemeanor of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (DWI) on July 2, 2020. Sentenced to local confinement (60 days stayed for one year), one year unsupervised adult probation, and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $2085.

Thomas Patrick Gearin, 66, North Saint Paul, Minnesota, pled guilty on September 14, 2020, to three felony charges: 1) conducting retail sales without a permit on January 1, 2015; 2) failing to file a tax return on April 15, 2014; and 3) failing to pay income tax on March 15, 2014. Stay of Adjudication and Continued Court Decision on October 26, 2020, with the following requirements: four years of supervised adult probation and conditions of behavior. Fee totals were Restitution at $11,725.15.

Hudson Michael Filas, 20, Toledo, Ohio, pled guilty on October 26, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of speeding 65/45 on August 26, 2020. Fines and fees total $155.
