Thomas Callahan Busch, 35, Cottage Grove, Minnesota, pled guilty on September 14, 2020, to a misdemeanor of driving while impaired (DWI), operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration 0.08 (within two hours) on July 28, 2020. Convicted and sentenced on October 5, 2020, to local confinement (60 days stayed for one year with credit for one day served), one year adult probation to the court and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $2085.

Christopher Robert Fenstad, 41, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty on October 8, 2018, to a gross misdemeanor of driving while impaired (DWI) in the second degree on July 31, 2018. Convicted on November 26, 2018, sentenced with Amended Court Decision on October 5, 2020, to local confinement (365 days stayed for two years with credit for eight days served). Thirty days of local confinement can be served in the Cook County jail or with a home electronic monitoring device, or one year on ignition lock with GPS tracking capabilities. Two years of supervised adult probation and conditions of behavior are also required. Fines and fees total $4165; $2000 of the $3000 fine is stayed until November 26, 2020.

Neil Steven Bergstedt, 42, Hibbing, Minnesota, pled guilty on October 8, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of permitting unlawful operation of an ATV by a young person on September 24, 2020. Fines and fees total $185.

Alexander Hardie Jeffries, 48, Saint Paul, Minnesota, pled guilty on October 8, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of speeding 82/60 on September 6, 2020. Fines and fees total $225.

Carol M. Werner, 72, Hayward, Wisconsin, pled guilty on October 10, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of traffic speeding in a school zone 29/20 on September 29, 2020. Fines and fees total $165.

Michael Thomas Highland, 29, Monument, Colorado, pled guilty on October 10, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of transporting a loaded firearm for hunting on September 27, 2020. Fines and fees total $185.

Muhammad Osamah Anwar, 23, Blaine, Minnesota, pled guilty on October 11, 2020, to a petty misdemeanor of speeding in a special zone set by the commissioner 75/45 on October 3, 2020. Fines and fees total $285.
