The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record
to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of
criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds
$100 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-
Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete
record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Joseph Kleo Koerber, 29, McGregor, pled guilty May 18 to charges of driving while impaired (DWI) on Sept. 26, 2009, and was sentenced July 21 to two years of supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $615.

Kevin Kyle McCallum,
30, Thunder Bay, pled guilty July 21 to speeding (65/55) on July 15, and was fined $130.

Jonathon Gunner Neitzke,
21. Grand Marais, pled guilty July 7 to charges of DWI filed June 13, and was sentenced July 21 to 90 days in jail, one year supervised probation, and ordered to pay fines totaling $90.

Gary Ledell Sheley, 24,
Grand Marais, pled guilty July 21 to charges of theft on April 19, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, stayed one year with supervised probation, and ordered to pay a $100 fine plus costs and fines for a total of $290.

York Alan Taenzer,
46, Des Moines, Iowa, pled guilty July 21 to speeding (66/40) on May 28, and was fined $290.

Kelly Jeanne Baker,
41, Grand Portage, pled guilty July 21 to charges of driving after revocation and uninsured vehicle filed March 15, and was fined $390.

Steven Noel Haro,
52, West Bend, Wis., pled guilty July 21 to speeding (50/40) on July 12, and was fined $130.

Dennis Reid Henkel,
61, Duluth, pled guilty July 21 to charges of DWI filed July 13, the court having dismissed additional charges of speeding and open bottle. Sentenced to 30 days in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus costs and fees for a total of $615.

Michael James Dahmen,
43, Grand Portage, pled guilty Aug. 3 to charges of domestic abuse (violating an order for protection within 10 years of a previous conviction) filed April 3. Sentenced to one year in jail which may be served through the Sentence To Serve program, and ordered to pay costs and fees totaling $90.

James Lee Murray,
43, Grand Marais, pled guilty Aug. 4 to charges of DWI filed July 18. Sentenced to 180 days in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus costs and fees for a total of $615.

Logan Alexander Netland,
21, Grand Marais, pled guilty Aug. 4 to charges of DWI filed June 27. Sentenced to 45 days in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay costs and fees of $90.
