Matters of Record


The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Jean Darla Queen, 31, Grand Marais, pled guilty February 28 to a petty misdemeanor of driving with no proof of motor vehicle insurance on January 17. Fines and fees total $290.

Raymond Robert Peterson, 65, Saint Paul, Minnesota, pled guilty on March 3 to a petty misdemeanor of traffic speeding 75/45 on February 29. Fines and fees total $285.

Nathan James Jackels, 25, Maple Grove, Minnesota, pled guilty on March 4 to a petty misdemeanor of traffic speeding 76/55 on February 29. Fines and fees total $225.

Kellie Marie Nichols, 35, Coon Rapids, Minnesota, pled guilty on March 7 to petty misdemeanors of traffic speeding 82/55 and driving after suspension of license on December 18, 2011(date on record). Fines and fees total $490.
