Charles Frederic Bonin, 26, Schroeder, Minn., pled guilty 1/13/2020 to driving while impaired in the third degree on 12/15/2019. Convicted of a gross misdemeanor. Sentenced to two years supervised probation plus 30 days jail, or 30 days electronic monitoring, or one year ignition interlock. Fines and fees total $1585.
Patrick Wayne Harth, 36, Hinckley, Minn., pled guilty 11/25/2019 to felony theft of motor vehicle on 6/19/2019. Sentenced to three years supervised probation with conditions of required behavior. Correctional facility time stayed for three years if all terms of probation are met. Fines and fees total $660.
Daniel Eugene Henry, 31, Grand Portage, Minn., pled guilty 1/13/2020 to misdemeanor of driving while impaired on 12/7/2019. Sentenced to local confinement (60 days stayed for one year), one year probation to the court, and other conditions. Fines and fees total $1085.
Edward Andrew Walimaa, 54, Embarrass, Minn., pled guilty 4/9/2018 to felony burglary in the third degree on 1/7/2018, was convicted on 5/29/2018, court decision was amended 1/13/2020. Sentenced to three years supervised probation with conditions of required behavior. Correctional facility time stayed for three years if all terms of probation are met. Fines and fees, including $2053.37 restitution, total $2193.37.
David Samuel Kent, 20, no address, pled guilty 11/13/2019 to felony of possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree on 7/12/2019. Sentenced to three years supervised probation with conditions of required behavior. Correctional facility time stayed for three years if all terms of probation are met. Fines and fees total $210.
Rory Ralph Tesser, 50, Grand Portage, Minn., pled guilty 11/13/2017 to gross misdemeanor of criminal sex conduct (5th degree non-consensual sex contact) on 10/9/2017. Amended court decision on 1/14/2020 has two years of supervised probation with conditions, including no contact with victim(s). Fines and fees total $500. Fine may be reduced by $500 if defendant is compliant with probation.
