Elizabeth Jean Van Ryn, 39, Brooklyn Park, pled guilty May 14 to charges of disorderly conduct (offensive/abusive/ boisterous/noisy/obscene) and felony assault on a peace officer filed March 14, the court having dismissed additional charges of disorderly conduct (brawling or fighting), gross misdemeanor assault on a peace officer and felony assault on a peace officer (throws/transfers bodily fluids or feces at or onto officer). Sentenced June 25 to 90 days in jail, stayed two years with four years supervised probation and conditions and ordered to pay a $300 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $390.
Matthew Scott Burgie, 24, Duluth, pled guilty June 26 to charges of no proof of motor vehicle insurance, speeding (69/55) and open bottle in a motor vehicle filed May 11, and was fined $440.
Vincent Henry Trovato Jr., 27, Bloomington, pled guilty July 5 to speeding (80/55) on June 4, and was fined $230.
Casey Chryn, 27, Grand Marais, pled guilty July 23 to violation of an Order for Protection on July 17, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $300 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $390.
