The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. Daniel John Eckholm, 30, Duluth, pled guilty Jan. 23 to charges of driving while impaired filed Oct. 8, 2016, the court having dismissed additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and no proof of motor vehicle insurance. Sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $1,090.
Jeremy Paul Gordon, 38, Coon Rapids, pled guilty Aug. 23 to speeding (74/55) on Aug. 5, and was fined $150.
Chad Jonathan Ness, 45, Wyoming, pled guilty Aug. 23 to speeding (73/55) on July 9, and was fined $150.
