Zachary Joseph Morsette, 21, Grand Rapids, pled guilty Nov. 28 to charges of drug possession (not a small amount of marijuana) filed Sept. 6, and was sentenced to 365 days in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $590.

Shaina Rose Hudak, 24, Grand Portage, pled guilty Dec. 12 to charges of disorderly conduct (brawling or fighting) filed Aug. 9, the court having dismissed an additional charge of falsely reporting a crime. Sentenced to 30 days in jail, stayed one year with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $150 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $240.

William Raymond Kray, 19, St. Paul, pled guilty Dec. 12 to no muffler as required and failure to stop at stop sign on Oct. 1, and was fined $190.

Macie Lee Anderson, 29, Grand Marais, pled guilty Dec. 12 to charges of criminal damage to property in the first degree filed May 30, and was granted a stay of adjudication and placed on three years supervised probation with conditions.

Curtis Gene Everson, 45, Grand Marais, pled guilty Dec. 12 to charges of driving while impaired (DWI) filed Aug. 12, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $1,090.

Kyle Douglas Kropelnicki, 39, Hastings, pled guilty Dec. 12 to gross misdemeanor charges of criminal vehicular operation – bodily harm (alcohol concentration .08 or more), the court having dismissed three additional related felony charges filed April 2. Sentenced to one year in jail, stayed three years with supervised probation and conditions including 90 days home detention, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $1,090.
