Michael Timothy Austin, 24, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 20 to charges of drug possession (over 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle) and possession of drug paraphernalia filed Dec. 30, and was fined $200.

Roger William Kloster, 37, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 25 to charges of driving while impaired filed Dec. 5, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $1,090.

Casey Rae Deschampe, 21, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 25 to no proof of vehicle insurance on Nov. 12, and was fined $290.

Cory Anthony Klingelhoets, 24, Maple Grove, was convicted Jan. 26 of felony test refusal in the first degree, the court having dismissed additional charges of driving after revocation and possession of an open bottle filed March 17. Sentenced to 42 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility at St. Cloud and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.
