Matters of Record




The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Rachel Marie Wasendorf, 29, Green Bay, Wis., pled guilty Jan. 11 to speeding (75/55) on Nov. 8, and was fined $230.

Eric Martin Thomas, 48, Minneapolis, pled guilty Jan. 11 to speeding (78/55) on Nov. 6, and was fined $230.

Michael Alan Eckhart, 56, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 16 to speeding (74/55) on Dec. 27, and was fined $150.

Michael Joseph Flatley, 39, Deer River, pled guilty April 2 to felony charges of possession of a controlled substance filed Jan. 25, 2015, and was granted a stay of adjudication Dec. 29. Sentenced Jan. 19 to 76 days in jail, stayed four years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.

Daniel Stuart Voigt, 19, St. Louis Park, pled guilty Oct. 27 to felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of alcohol by an underage person filed Aug. 3, 2015, and was granted a stay of adjudication. Sentenced Jan. 19 to 30 days in jail and placed on supervised probation for three years with conditions, and ordered to pay fines of $100 plus court costs and fees for a total of $190.
