Jacob Charles Murphy, 27, Mounds View, pled guilty Dec. 8 to a DNR hunting violation (transportation of loaded firearms) on Nov. 20, and was fined $190.
Haider Harbi Alamery, 45, Coon Rapids, pled guilty Dec. 8 to speeding (73/55) on Nov. 7, and was fined $150.
Scott Frederick Honer, 55, Lutsen, pled guilty Dec. 11 to a DNR big game violation (early/illegal bear bait station) on Nov. 6, and was fined $190.
Mellisa Mary Gagnon, 33, Grand Marais, pled guilty Sept. 28 to charges of assault in the fifth degree, the court having dismissed an additional charge of domestic assault, and was convicted Nov. 23. Sentenced Dec. 9 to two years probation with conditions and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.
Kelly Lee Roy Johnson, 58, Mound, pled guilty Dec. 9 to a DNR off-highway vehicle violation (restriction on operation – parks, scientific/natural/wildlife management area) on Nov. 21, and was fined $190.
Thomas Richard Meyer, 49, St. Francis, pled guilty Dec. 9 to speeding (68/55) and no seat belt use on Sept. 27, and was fined $165.
Brian A. King, 51, Gull Bay, Ontario, pled guilty Dec. 14 to charges of theft of motor fuel from a retailer on Oct. 12, 2014, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with probation, and ordered to pay a $200 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $290.
Michele Robyn Whaley, 57, Grand Marais, pled guilty Dec. 14 to charges of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) filed Oct. 27, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with conditions, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine ($900 of which was stayed for one year) plus court costs and fees of $190.
