Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions
of criminal cases in which the potential punishment
exceeds $100 and/or 10 days in jail. All fines have additional
surcharges and fees and may be much higher. It is
the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information
contains a complete record. Requests for items to be
withheld will not be granted.
Larry Hosanna,
60, Thunder Bay, pled guilty Nov. 25 to unsafe passing on Nov. 11, and was fined $140.
Michael Werosta,
35, Vienna, Austria, pled guilty Nov. 25 to speeding (77/55) on Oct. 6, and was fined $230.
Richard Thacke Haesemeyer,
47, Apple Valley, pled guilty Nov. 16 to speeding (76/55) on Oct. 17, and was fined $230.
Maranda Marie Weber,
29, Grand Marais, pled guilty Nov. 18 to charges of failure to drive with due care (speed greater than reasonable) on Oct. 31, 2007, and was fined $290.
Robert Lawrence Stark,
26, McKinley, pled guilty Dec. 9 to a charge of driving while intoxicated on Sept. 11, the court having dismissed an additional similar count. Sentenced to one year in the county jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay court costs and a fine totaling $615.
John Paul Note,
49, Hovland, pled guilty Dec. 9 to a charge of driving while intoxicated on Sept. 22, the court having dismissed an additional charge of failure to register a vehicle. Sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, stayed two years with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay court costs and a fine totaling $615.
Jason Mark Lynch,
35, Grand Marais, pled guilty Dec. 9 to a charge of driving while impaired on Nov. 21, 2008, the court having dismissed additional charges of no proof of insurance and operating a vehicle without plates displayed. Sentenced to 45 days in the county jail, stayed two years with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay court costs and a fine totaling $615.
