18, Winona, pled guilty Oct. 29 to speeding (82/55) on Aug. 9, and was fined $290.
Jackson T. Nickolay,
18, Grand Marais, pled guilty Oct. 29 to speeding (76/55) on Oct. 25, and was fined $230.
Raymond Muller,
52, Thunder Bay, pled guilty Oct. 6 to speeding (68/40) on Sept. 25, and was fined $290.
Gary Mitchell Remus,
54, Robbinsdale, pled guilty Oct. 6 to speeding (61/40) on Sept. 24, and was fined $230.
Krystyna JoAnn Cappello,
36, Thunder Bay, pled guilty Oct. 20 to possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 10, and was fined $290.
Japheth Caleb Carlson,
27, Grand Portage, pled guilty Oct. 21 to disorderly conduct charges filed Sept. 5, and was fined $240.
Vanesia Dorothy McCray,
19, Eagan, pled guilty Oct. 21 to failure to stop at a stop sign on Sept. 28, and was fined $140.
Aaron Alex Mather,
32, Ely, pled guilty Oct. 21 to reckless driving and littering (dangerous object on the highway) on July 29, and was fined $390.
Tolga Girgin,
24, Lutsen, pled guilty Oct. 19 to not carrying proof of insurance while driving and speeding (65/55) on Oct. 7, and was fined $330.
Paul Dudley Higgins,
52, Grand Marais, pled guilty Oct. 14 to charges of no required annual inspection of a commercial vehicle filed Sept. 12, and was fined $190.
Matthew John Poyirier,
20, Grand Portage, pled guilty Oct. 21 to felony charges of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle on July 14, the court having dismissed additional charges of reckless driving, no current motor vehicle registration, driving after suspension and no proof of insurance or title. Sentenced to 13 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility at St. Cloud, stayed 13 months with supervised probation.
Roger Scott Norgren,
34, Grand Marais, pled guilty Oct. 21 to charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI) filed Aug. 31, the court having dismissed an additional charge of driving without a valid license. Sentenced to 90 days in the county jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs and fees totaling $615.
Kimberly Ann Heil Smith,
43, Lutsen, pled guilty Oct. 20 to charges of DWI filed July 21, and was sentenced to 45 days in the county jail, stayed two years with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs and fees totaling $615.
Patricia Ellen Buwalda,
39, Thunder Bay, pled guilty Oct. 21 to charges of DWI filed Aug. 23, and was sentenced to 90 days in the county jail, stayed two years with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and fees totaling $1,115.
