Matters of Record




The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Keith Kevin Johnson, 55, Center City, pled guilty April 15 to charges of speeding (90/55) on March 9, and was fined $390.

Koertland James Thoreson, 22, Tofte, pled guilty April 14 to charges of fleeing a police officer filed Aug. 4, the court having dismissed an additional charge of violation of the Cook County Social Host Ordinance. Fined $300, $100 of which was stayed with one year of unsupervised probation and conditions, plus court costs and fees for a total of $290.

Andrew Bearden Williams, 19, Louisville, Ky., pled guilty Jan. 28 to charges of gross misdemeanor fifth-degree criminal sex conduct (lewd exhibition) and felony charges of criminal sex conduct (victim 13-15, actor more than 24 months older) filed May 29, the court having dismissed additional felony charges of criminal sex conduct (force or coercion, solicit child to engage in sexual conduct and non-consensual sex conduct). Sentenced April 15 to 36 months in a state correctional facility, stayed seven years with supervised probation and conditions including predatory offender registration, and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.

Allen C. Main, 60, Murillo, Ontario, pled guilty April 15 to charges of tire defects (below minimum tread) on March 24, and was fined $190.

Jason Lee Mars, 43, Newport, pled guilty April 15 to charges of speeding (71/55) on March 16, and was fined $150.
