Bruce Clark Zimpel, 56, Lutsen, pled guilty Feb. 6 to charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 21, and was fined $190.
Arthur Dale Oster, 38, Ontario, pled guilty Feb. 10 to using a false log book and was fined $390.
John Thomas Haukos, 45, Hermantown, pled guilty Feb. 10 to driving after cancellation and careless driving on Oct. 12, the court having dismissed additional charges of no insurance and possession of marijuana (over 1.4 grams) in a motor vehicle. Sentenced to one year in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $700 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $790.
Todd Edward Ahonen, 41, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 14 to charges of child endangerment (permit sale/ possession of a controlled substance) and felony charges of fifth-degree drug possession filed Feb. 26, 2013. Granted a stay of imposition of sentence Feb. 10 and placed on supervised probation for two years with conditions and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.
Dean Allen Berglund, 51, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 15 to charges of malicious punishment of a child filed April 9, the court having dismissed additional charges of domestic assault. Granted a stay of adjudication Feb. 10 and placed on supervised probation for two years with conditions and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus restitution of $1,440.50.
Debbie Ellen Rankin, 23, Grand Portage, pled guilty Jan. 13 to furnishing alcohol to minors on Aug. 4, and was granted a stay of adjudication Feb. 10 and placed on supervised probation for two years with conditions.
Ryan Anthony Senger, 36, Oklee, pled guilty Feb. 12, 2013 to charges of driving after cancellation filed Aug. 28, 2011. Sentenced Feb. 13, 2014 to one year in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $590.
Nathan Miller Dobbelmann, 32, Grand Marais, pled guilty Nov. 13 to felony charges of violation of predatory offender registration requirements filed March 28, 2013. Granted a stay of imposition Feb. 18 and placed on supervised probation for three years with conditions and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.
