Dominic Anthony Scarpelli, 23, Grand Blanc, Mich., pled guilty Jan. 29 to charges of DWI filed Nov. 2, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with unsupervised probation and conditions and ordered to pay a fine of $1,000 plus court costs and fees of $115.
Gregory Clemence Gresczyk, 24, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 28 to DNR charges of deer hunting with the use of bait filed Nov. 9 and was granted a stay of adjudication and sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation with conditions and ordered to pay court costs of $300.
Robert Joseph Gotchie Jr., 32, Grand Marais, pled guilty Nov. 12 to felony charges of sale of drugs (Schedule 1, 2, 3 but not marijuana) filed March 4, and was sentenced to 21 months at the state correctional facility at St. Cloud.
Daphne Walker Mitchell, 50, Ontario, pled guilty Jan. 30 to speeding (70/55) on Jan. 20, and was fined $150.
Pamela Marie Norris, 56, Grand Portage, pled guilty Jan. 28 to charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired (DWI) filed Nov. 13, the court having dismissed an additional charge of possession or sale of a legend drug. Sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with unsupervised probation and conditions and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $1,115.
