Mark your calendar for Storytelling Dinner at Lutsen Resort

The North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum is now planning for its Annual Storytelling Dinner at Lutsen Resort Saturday, December 1. The museum is excited to have Adolph Ojard as our guest speaker.

Ojard is the executive director of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority. He is a native of Knife River and the grandson of two fishing families—the Torgersens and the Ojards. Ojard’s mother, Marion, grew up on Isle Royale at Washington Harbor. His father was a ship’s officer during WWII and captain of the tugboat Edna G in Two Harbors.

Ojard will regale guests with tales from his life at Knife River as well as give everyone a glimpse into the future of commerce on Lake Superior.

As always, Lutsen’s amazing staff will serve up a scrumptious dinner.

The cost is $50 per person. Reservations can be made by calling Lutsen Resort at 218- 663-7212.

Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds benefit the North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum, a 501c3 non-profit.
