Margaret L. Geselle, 89, died on Friday, February 10, 2012, in Rochester, MN.
Margaret was born in Hovland on January 22, 1923 to Alexander and Blanche (Wilson) Englund. In the mid- 1930s her family moved to Rochester, MN.
She married Lyndon Geselle on October 10, 1949, and moved to the Geselle family farm on the north side of Rochester, now known as Elton Hills, where they farmed until the early 1970s. During these years they were active members and leaders in 4-H and Farm Bureau.
She was a member of the Rochester Assembly of God Church and faithfully served the church in many ways, including teaching Sunday School classes for more than 50 years. She will be remembered for her warm and caring ways and for her prayer life on the behalf of others.
Margaret is survived by three children, Charles (Carol) Geselle of Rochester, Gretchen (Stephen) Stormoen of Eden Prairie, MN and Barbara (Kim) Kuhfuss, of Stillwater, MN; five grandchildren, Deborah (Ryan) Wyss of Chengdu, China, Rebekah Kuhfuss of Woodbury, MN, Daniel, David, and Rachel Kuhfuss of Stillwater, MN; one great-grandchild Elena Wyss; two siblings, Elizabeth Axmark of Rochester and Bernhard (Gladys) Englund of St. Paul, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Lyndon; her parents and a brother, Milton Englund.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Rochester Assembly of God with Rev. Jim Filbeck and Rev. Bruce Kallies officiating. Interment will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
