Learn how to make your own holiday greeting cards in a two-day class at the Art Colony.
Kelly Dupre, who each month provides the News-Herald
with the delightful family feature, Whirligigs,
will teach Holiday Cards
Nov. 7 and 8 in a course designed to give students’ friends and relatives their very own handmade greeting cards.
Students will learn how to make single and/or multi-colored art in the form of a card and let their creativity run away as their own images are turned into printed masterpieces.
All levels of skill are welcome to join in on the fun of hand printing and using the Vandercook printing press. A variety of ways to use the relief printing medium will be explored as creativity leaps in honor of the holiday season, Dupre said.
