A group of 39 people took part in the trip to Duluth for the the Cirque Du Soleil performance. Many folks said that it was the best show they had ever seen. It was actually more of an experience than just a show. It lasted approximately 2½ hours with just a brief intermission. There were over 70 performers including mimes, acrobats and dancers.

We also enjoyed an early dinner at Grandma’s Saloon and Deli at Canal Park before the show. After the show we stopped at McDonald’s in Two Harbors for a snack.

We had a wonderful meal and birthday party for Kathy Kippley on Thursday, May 17 complete with cake and ice cream. Let us know when your birthday is and sign up for our Birthday Club! The cost for your party membership is $5.00. Join us for lunch and we will make you a cake, provide ice cream and throw you a party! We love birthday parties at the Senior Center!

Welcome back to Lois Johnson. She returned from Arizona this past Saturday. Lois has already been digging in and helping out at the 1st & 2nd Thrift Store. All money earned at the Thrift Store is returned to our many local nonprofit organizations.
