Lutsen Mountains was the only Minnesota ski facility named to Family Skiers “Best Family Ski Resorts,” for 2021-2022.
Boasting 95 runs over four mountains and a maximum vertical drop of 825 feet, Lutsen Mountains is the largest ski hill in the Midwest.
“Lutsen’s terrain, vibe, and great setting make it an excellent family ski destination. As families look for resorts that can accommodate everyone on the trip, Steamboat’s features make it a great destination to consider,” said Paul Miller, Founder.
The list was created with input from a panel of ski enthusiasts, parent and travel bloggers, and other ski writers. Key criteria included great skiing or snowboarding, a setting that was inviting to families and children, a long track record, and activities in the area for non-skiers.
