A Lutsen man was found deceased within a 100-yard radius from his residence late night on March 13.
The Cook County Sheriff ’s Office 911 Dispatch received a call at 12:49 a.m. that Edward Stark, 91, was missing from his house.
Cook County Sheriff ’s Office Deputies, Search & Rescue, North Shore Health Ambulance and Lutsen First Responders responded to the call.
The party contacting the 911 dispatch believed that Stark had left the house sometime during the night. A search was conducted and he was located at 1:43 am, within a 100- yard radius of the residence. No pulse was detected, and CPR was administered.
Edward Stark was declared deceased at 2:16 a.m.
An autopsy will be completed at the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause of death. No further information is available at this time.
