The Cook County Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon to help voters make informed choices on the school referendum at noon on Oct. 6 at Cook County Higher Education in Grand Marais.
On Nov. 3, voters will be asked to approve a $600,000 per year override operating levy for ISD 166. At the luncheon, representatives of the school district will present their levy proposal and take questions from those attending. Lunch will be provided without charge, catered by Java Moose.
