Lois P. Carlson, nee Pearson, 91, of Park Ridge, Illinois, passed peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
Lois is the beloved wife of the late George E. Carlson Sr.; loving mother of George E. Jr., (Marilyn) Carlson, of Grand Marais, and Eric (Cindy) Carlson; proud grandmother of Todd E. (Kunthida) Carlson, Lt. Cmdr. Marc (Carmen) Carlson, U.S. Navy, Kimberly D. (Jason) Floyd, Dr. Bruce A. Carlson, Richard (fiancée Jessica Butanda) Carlson and David G. Carlson; great-grandmother of Asher, Kyiah, Rowene, Nevaeh, Zachary, Nicole, Amy, Eliza and Kaleigh; dear sister of the late Kenneth Pearson and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Lois was a professional singer and actress and a member of the Actors Equity Association. She appeared with St. Louis Municipal Opera/Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera and various other professional theatres throughout Chicagoland, both as a singer and actress.
Funeral services are Saturday, October 17. In state 2 p.m. at the Park Ridge Community Church, 100 S. Courtland, Park Ridge, Illinois, until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. Interment at the Town of Maine Cemetery.
