The North Shore Rollers would like to thank everyone who came out to watch and support the Minnesota State Log Rolling Championships this past weekend at Fisherman’s Picnic.
We would also like to thank the following people and businesses who took the time to donate and sponsor the event: Cook County YMCA, Grand Marais Lions Club, Studio 61 Hair Design, North Star Cabling, Glenn Peterson Construction, Sven & Ole’s Pizza, Dairy Queen, Cook County Towing, ESC Systems, Jason Hill Excavating, Arrowhead Pharmacy, Dave and Amanda Plummer, Peter Henrikson, Woodmizer, Central Boiler, and Neil and Jenny Atkinson for the use of the tank.
The North Shore Rollers thank Jenny for her great commentating and support of all the kids who came from afar for the event.
We couldn’t do it without all the parents who took the time to come up and have their kids participate in the tournament, and for their help and willingness to help set up and take down the tank, judge, time, pole starting, and take photos. It is all so appreciated!
This is a great time for all the kids to show off the unique sport and skills and we are happy to do it every year at the Fisherman’s Picnic.
