Two Cook County organizations are among those awarded $63,075 in Arrowhead Regional Arts Council art project grants.
The Grand Marais Playhouse, Grand Marais, was awarded $4,650 for the production of The Rockin’ Tale of Snow White as its annual youth/ community play in November 2011.
The North Shore Music Association, Grand Marais, was awarded $4,910 to present its Bluegrass Masters Weekend at Lutsen Resort, including workshops, jam sessions and an evening performance with bluegrass artists Tim Stafford and Steve Gulley, in November 2011.
The funding for these grants is made available by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
