Are you ready to get wild? WDSE Cooks is ready for you! Sixteen local cooks went wild with host Juli Kellner for the PBS 8 cooking show “W” is for Wild! What’s on the menu? How about roasted venison with wild mushroom pudding, wild rice bread, or cheesy wild rice soup? That’s just the hint of the line-up. Tune in for the premiere of WDSE Cooks “W” is for Wild, Saturday, December 3 at 1 p.m. on WDSE•WRPT PBS North 8.
North Shore cooks always bring their best recipes to WDSE Cooks. Grand Portage’s Robert Swanson continued that tradition when he prepared his delightfully delicious raisin pie with wild rice. Meanwhile, summertime Grand Marais resident Cathy Peterson made an exceptionally delicious fish chowder!
‘Tis also the season to join host Juli Kellner for an encore presentation of WDSE Cooks “H” is for Holiday! Get a head start on your baking and making with Santa Lucia buns, thumbprint cookies, honey popcorn, cranberry steam pudding, Kris Kringle bread and much more! Savor this delicious holiday feast Sunday, December 4 at 12:30 p.m. on PBS North. Bon Appétit!
