At the June 7 annual meeting for Great River Energy Mike Littfin, a board member of Arrowhead Cooperative, Inc. was elected to the Great River Energy 24-member board of directors.
Highlights of the annual meeting include president and chief executive officer David Saggau revealing a revised rate projection that showed annual increases of less than 1 percent through 2030, which is les than the annual rate of inflation. Great River Energy also received a 2017 Gold Well Workplace Award from the Wellness Council of America for meeting a rigorous set of Well Workplace criteria.
Meanwhile Arrowhead Cooperative continues to grow, expanding its service to Gust Lake and Tom Lake this spring. The solar array installed in 2015 at Arrowhead’s headquarters in Lutsen has produced 66,000 kilowatts of clean, renewable, locally produced energy.
Littfin represents the Maple Hill District as one of the seven board of directors for Arrowhead Cooperative. Mike has served for ??? years in that capacity.
Great River Energy is a not-for-profit electric cooperative owned by 28 electrical distribution member cooperatives, which serve approximately 685,000 members. Arrowhead Cooperative is one of the member owners.
