Lily Gruber-Schulz named to Polar League All-Conference





Cook County High School junior guard/forward Lily Gruber-Schulz scored 12 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in the Polar League All-Star game in which her team won in overtime. Lily also won the 2-point shooting contest held after the game.

Coming off a strong season, Cook County High School junior guard/forward Lily Gruber-Schulz earned second team all conference honors for the Polar League.

Coaches of teams that Cook County High School faced this past season selected Gruber-Schulz. She played in the All-Star game on Monday, March 23 in Two Harbors.

Last year Gruber-Schulz was named Polar League All-Conference honorable mention.

For the year Gruber- Schulz averaged 11.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2 steals per game.

Lily is the daughter of John Gruber and Jennifer Schulz of Grand Marais.
