The 8th annual Light Up a Life ceremony was held Thursday, December 1 at the East Bay Suites. Ann Russ, Jenny Delfs, Sue Hennessy, and Jay Arrowsmith DeCoux provided beautiful music, and Pastor Beth Benson of the First Congregational Church led the ceremony, weaving in the elements of water and fire into this time of remembrance.

The group lit candles and shared the names and stories of those they have lost. The weather was “balmy” enough to allow everyone to go across the street to circle and light the Memory Tree to close the event. Over $1,100 was raised through Light Up a Life to support end of life care through Care Partners. Many thanks to the many volunteers, East Bay Suites, and Java Moose for help with the event.
