Care Partners’ 11th annual “Light up a Life” offers community members the opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one during the holiday season. Each $5 donation lights one bulb in memory of one person on our memory tree, which will be located downtown in front of the Johnson Heritage Post.
A Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held inside the Johnson Heritage Post on Thursday, December 12 at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Mary Ellen Ashcroft will lead us in a brief time of reflection and connection. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
Donations to “Light Up a Life” help support Care Partners’ palliative and end of life services in Cook County. Donation forms are available at area churches and businesses and on the web at www.carepartnersofcookcounty.org.
