Care Partner’s 13th Annual “Light up a Life” offers community members the opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one during the holiday season. Each $5 donation lights one bulb in memory of one person on our memory tree, which is located downtown in front of the Johnson Heritage Post.
A Virtual Candle-Lighting Ceremony will be held via Zoom on Thursday, December 9th at 5:30 p.m. Care Partners staff and Pastor Enno Limvere from Grand Marais First Congregational UCC will lead participants in a time of reflection and connection, with the opportunity to share brief stories and memories of loved ones who have died.
Donations to Light Up a Life help support Care Partner’s palliative and end of life services in Cook County. Donation forms are available at www.carepartnersofcookcounty.org.
