Library announces summer reading program




Despite ambitious construction plans, the Grand Marais Public Library will once again be offering a summer reading program. Pre-school and elementary age kids will travel the globe this summer as the Grand Marais Public Library presents One World, Many Stories during its summer reading program.

Children will explore neighboring to exotic places in the world through stories, crafts, music, dance and other activities. The summer program includes family activity sheets, reading club records for title or timed reading for independent or family readers. There will be regular story times every Tuesday in July and prizes for all readers who complete their goals.

And if you’ve lost your library card, get it replace for free during the month of July.
