LaMaster wins Reed Larson hockey award




The son of Cook County High School graduate Jennifer (Stoskopf) LaMaster, Luke, recently won the Reed Larson award as the best Senior High School hockey defenseman in Minnesota. Luke plays for Duluth East.

Jennifer Stoskopf graduated from Cook County High School (CCHS) in 1987. Jennifer is the daughter of Pastor Bob and Dode Stoskopf.

Duluth East plays in the state tournament.

Luke is going to play at Wisconsin and will be the third son of a CCHS grad to play Division 1 hockey. Cade Fairchild, the son of Christine (Larsen) Fairchild played at the University of Minnesota and now plays professionally in Sweden.

Vickie (Brenner) Benik’s son Joey played at St. Cloud State University.
