Lacina named Director of Nursing

Amy Lacina

Amy Lacina, RN has been promoted to the Director of Nursing at North Shore Health. She replaces Bridget Sobieck, who retired.

Lacina has served as the hospital’s Clinical Nurse Manager for the last year and also worked as a Registered Nurse in the hospital. During the previous two months, said North Shore Hospital Director Kimber Wraalstad, “Amy has done an outstanding job in maintaining, organizing, and leading the hospital Nursing Department.

“She assisted in developing the Plan of Correction for the Critical Access Hospital Survey and is proceeding with action steps to enhance patient care. Amy is a visible, present and involved leader with a very calm and quiet presence. We are fortunate to have Amy and our other Nurse Leaders (Mark Abrahamson, Amy James, Robert McGregor, and Jennifer Dowden) as we look to the future.”
