Kyler Brian Deschampe, gained his angel wings on April 11th, 2020, at the age of 17. Kyler was born on May 12th, 2002, to Wally and Gail Deschampe of Grand Portage, who were blessed to have the most kindhearted and amazing son.
Kyler’s biggest passion in life was his love of the outdoors; anything to do with hunting, fishing or simply just walking in the woods. Kyler fished more parts of the world in his short years than most adults would in a lifetime, from the Gulf of Mexico to Alaska, he managed to fish anywhere he set his mind to.
Kyler was well known in the community for his soft spot in his heart for children with special needs, he would never pass by without stopping to take the time to visit and make a child with special needs feel his love, often volunteering to participate in activities with them. Kyler had friends of all ages and walks of life and if you met him once, he left an impact, that you could never forget him, he is missed by so many, he will never be forgotten.
In Addition to his parents Wally and Gail Deschampe, Kyler is survived by his Grandfather Leonard Sylvester; the love of his life, Alexis Eliasen; his brothers: Bradley (Neomonie) and Trevor (Faryn); His sister’s: Karianna, Kristen, Katelyn (Ben), Marie (Joel), Amy (Gene) and Naomi Deschampe. Kyler was at heavens gates to greet his Grandfather Edward Olson who was reunited with Kyler on June 4, 2020. Kyler has many Aunt’s Uncles, and he was most proud to be the uncle to several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. In addition to the family, Kyler also leaves behind his Stonebridge Singers family; John, Tanner, Brandon, Brent, Marcus, David, Caide and Bob.
