Kostya Allan Senty, 34, passed away in his home on May 12, 2023. Visitation for Kostya will be held Monday May 22, 2023, in the Breyley Suite of Mount Olivet Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 23, 2023, at Mount Olivet Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow immediately after funeral service. Kostya was born on February 9, 1989, in Pskov, Russia. Kostya grew up in an orphanage in Russia, until the age of 14. He was then adopted into a loving family in Grand Marais, Minnesota. He learned many things from the Senty family. They allowed him to have freedom in his life and encouraged him to challenge himself and try new things, such as snowboarding and skateboarding from his Senty sisters. Upon his arrival to the states, he explored all of Grand Marais in less than a week. Grand Marais was a dream come true, just like a fairy tale. Kostya graduated with honors from Cook County High School then, later graduated from The Divers Institute of Technology. He obtained the Rigger Certification as well as the Diver Certification from the Diver Certification Board of Canada. Kostya also had auction access with a dealer license. He worked for Kirby Morgan Dive System, Triton Diving Services LLC, and was the owner of Senty Auto Care. Kostya was a master technician and had a talent to fix just about anything. He had a gift for working on classic cars, hot rods, and luxury vehicles. He was eager to learn everything he could under the sun. Truly, jack of all trades! After graduation, seeking adventure and a thirst to learn, he traveled the United States. He lived in many states such as, Arizona, Washington, Louisiana and Florida, to name a few. He later settled down in Texas, where he met the love of his life, whom he married and then became a father. The title husband and father were his greatest accomplishments. He was an exceptional loving husband, extraordinary father, family man and friend. He loved spending time and caring for his family. He enjoyed feeding his chickens, playing with his dogs, Bandit, Axel, and Blue, and cats, Baker, Benjamin, Hunter, Grace, Juniper, Mustard and Zeus. You could always find Kostya cooking out, making home cooked meals, and building or fixing something. He used his creativity in the art of woodwork, creating beautiful masterpieces for his loved ones to enjoy. He was a collector of tools, license plates, artifacts, and precious metals. Kostya enjoyed watching football and was a fantasy football fanatic. Kostya was a part of the Steeler’s Nation and C-10 Disorder club. He was a hard-core Steeler’s super fan, so much so, that he enjoyed letting those Dallas Cowboys fans know they were rooting for the wrong team. He was social and benevolent, going out of his way to help anyone in need. He was knowledgeable and a teacher of everything he knew. Kostya was an informative, hilarious, cheerful, and an all-around amazing person. He was intelligent and unique. He was such a strong man with the biggest heart. Kostya was slowly changing the world by paying it forward each day. He believed “The greatest thing you could give somebody was your time.” He now joins his Lord and savior Jesus Christ and will be truly missed by many. He is survived by Wife, Irene Senty; son, Joshua Rena Ramirez and Christian Ramirez; daughter, Janice Ariel Ramirez and Sonya Senty; parents, Michael and Laurie Senty; siblings, Kelly, Tess, Losha, Hana, Alex and Ilya Senty; siblings from Russia, Sasha and Yuliya Filyushina, and Ilya Orlov (twin brother), and many nieces, and nephews.
