Kent Groethe to speak June 28





Zoar Lutheran Church in Tofte and Zion Lutheran Church in Finland will host Pastor Kent Groethe on Sunday afternoon and evening on June 28. Pastor Groethe’s seminar is entitled Hearing God. Thisseminar is from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held at Zoar Church in Tofte. A break time with a potluck supper is planned. All are welcome to attend.

Pastor Groethe will present real life illustrations of how he has observed God at work in the lives of ordinary people. He will share stories and scripture of how God speaks in our life as well as how we can be deaf to God’s voice. Participants will be encouraged towards a deeper trust in God’s active presence in our lives and how to better hear when God is speaking. Come and be encouraged by this pastor’s keen observations based on years of congregational experience and deep sensitivity to God’s word.

Pastor Groethe organized Bible Alive Ministries. The vision of BAM is to assist spiritual renewal and growth to all individuals who seek to have God as a real force in their lives. Pastor Groethe also publishes a magazine called Connections. Pastor Groethe will be a teaching leader at Mt. Carmel this fall. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a gifted teacher.

Pastor Groethe will also present the Sunday message at both Zoar and Zion Churches.
