Beloved daughter of Anne and George Maurin, she died in Hibbing, Minnesota of a rare blood disease. Kay is survived by best friend David Levitan; siblings Patrick (Elizabeth) of Wasilla, Alaska, Judy Brisky (John) of Lutsen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret and parents.
Kay was a veteran, serving in the army as a nurse and later a massage therapist believing in holistic medicine and natural healing. Outspoken and politically active, Kay was a lifelong seeker of justice, loving all things Israel with the creator and her faith sustaining her.
She loved the simple everyday gifts of the earth; working her garden, picking berries, being in nature as well as visiting with family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed. www.baumanfuneralhome.com
