Juxtaposition and Reflection revealed

The Creative Community Club continues offering a creative outlet in an interesting and inspired way. The club introduces a new word each month for club members to ponder and from which to produce… well, something! Something to show and share with others at an end of the month gathering called the Reveal.

The club, established by Jill Terrill owner of Threads and The Garage in downtown Grand Marais, is intended to offer an informal creative outlet for anyone who wants to take part. The club has gotten off to a bit of a slow start, so the Reveal for the January and February words—Reflection and Juxtaposition—were held at the same time.

Five clever crafty and artistic folks gathered at The Garage on Friday, February 25 to share what they created or to discuss what the words and thinking of them throughout the month meant to them. There is a collage of Reflection offerings at The Garage—everyone is invited to stop by and take a look.

Terrill invites everyone to join the club to consider the March word. The Reveal will be held at 5:00 p.m. on April 1 and it will feature homemade pies by Leslie. “Have fun exploring where the word leads,” said Terrill.

The March word is Simple.

If you would like to join the Creative Community Club and create something using the word of the month, feel free! There are no membership dues and no obligation.
