Justice is not contained in a dictionary or in using the word to mean injustice as social justice uses it. The American system begins by stating equality free of birth distinction. This means citizens equal under the law. Social justice says distinctions based on birth color, ethnicity, etc. are valid cause for discrimination. This judges the individual based on birth group, a category over which none alive today or ever has had responsibility for or control of.
A few months ago we recognized Martin Luther King who wished for the day his children would be judged by the content of their character not their skin. By justifying the opposite social justice is both unjust and distinctly non- American.
I’m confident an unjust philosophy lacks justice whether in Bloomington or Grand Marais. Representing injustice as just is equally objectionable in either place.
