Come on folks, I was on the jury. I was not fearful for my life! I was not traumatized! I do not need counseling! But I sure will be if every time I go in the courthouse I have to go through a metal detector.
Or as prospective juror I have to sit through a talk on what to do if attacked. This, just in case I might have forgotten what might happen, and to make it very hard to concentrate on the trial. Also, would that cover every way possible? Probably not!
Maybe those actually involved in the attack will need all this concern but not the jurors, who simply removed ourselves from the danger area, found a safe place and waited until someone gave us the all clear.
Bad things happen but they are much worse if they cause us to change our way of life.
