Life in Christ Lutheran Church welcomes Pastor Jonathan Watt as its new pastor. Pastor Watt is a 1997 graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo. and has served congregations in Burt, Iowa, Howard, South Dakota and Creston, Iowa. Prior to his service as a pastor, he was a computer systems analyst for Bryan Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska and before that a technical consultant for personnel data systems in Blue Bell, Pa.
Pastor Watt has three children: Joshua, born in 1987; Miciah Carter, born in 1991; and Hannah, born in 1998.
Pastor Watt’s installation will take place on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. at Life in Christ Lutheran Church, 2017 W. Highway 61 in Grand Marais. Refreshments and a light supper will follow the service. The public is cordially invited to attend.
