Join the fun at the library on Holiday Gaming Night

The Grand Marais Public Library is hosting its 3rd annual Holiday Gaming Night at the library on Saturday, December 29 from 2 – 4 p.m. Juvenile and Reference Librarian Patsy Ingebrigtsen expects the evening to be a lot of fun. “Come one, come all,” she said.

The event will feature chess, cribbage and family board games; card games such as Monty Python Fluxx and Nuts and Zombie Dice. You haven’t heard of those games? Then come on out and give them a try!

The library will offer the opportunity to try X-Box 360 and Wii “Just Dance.”

You can also bring your own family favorites to share.

“Bring your family and friends for some game time at the library and enjoy yummy treats with cocoa or coffee!” said Ingebrigtsen.

The event is free. The library is located at 104 2nd Avenue West in Grand Marais. For more information about Holiday Gaming Night or any of the library’s service, visit www.grandmaraislibrary.org or call (218) 387-1140.
