Jessica Berg-Collman
Jessica Berg-Collman of Grand Marais is once again raising funds for Mush for a Cure (MFAC) in March. Jessica has won awards for the highest number of pledges in the past and she is working hard to top her previous records. She is especially dedicated to MFAC this year, as she is mushing in honor of her mentor and log rolling coach, Clearwater Lake resident Jenny Atkinson. Atkinson, an eight-time world champion log roller and boom runner was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
Jessica is kicking off her fundraising efforts with a spaghetti dinner at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Monday, February 22 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. The cost is $10 per plate and all proceeds go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation through MFAC on Saturday, March 13.
